Sure, results probably vary greatly by language and chosen AI. If you just accept it’s basically mostly useless, it can be helpful. It often showed me new ways or ideas that didn’t work at all, but gave me the right kick in the right direction.

But I’m no pro, I just code for fun since forever. There might be AIs that could probably do better jobs, as I’m also no AI-“pro”.

But oh boy is it a flashy good-looking structured cool code! It doesn’t work, but it’s cool!

And don’t forget that hours of chilly AI-coding can save you minutes of hard manual work. That is peak efficiency

I feel you. The more you know, the less you can do any good. You can try and try and try all around and all you achieved by doing your best in doing good is discovering more bad and feel like you’ve failed altogether. I try to stick to the thought of that it’s only MY best I can do, I’m not almighty and everywhere. And maybe I just have set my standards/morals too high.

Sure. Just don’t pay. I listen to some very questionable or morally disgusting songs because I like the music. And I personally never care for the author’s life story. I don’t ask who builds my car either.

Be glad you actually realized it and we even have this chat. And this is beyond bullying, this is top-level-abuse and shows all the usual signs of manipulation and gaslighting. Physically at least, mentally they will probably live rent-free in your head for a while longer (but you will learn to make peace with, or, at least, cope with it). It might sound trivial, but one of the simplest and best rules in (social) life is: Keep toxic people out of your life. Period. Even if it’s blood. Or especially if it’s blood. Make your own family out of friends and soulmates. If you ever have the feeling someone might not be good for you, he most likely isn’t. Fuck this person and move on. You’re only here once, why waste it with some ass-clowns that don’t even care about you?

I’m sorry you had/have to go through all this, noone deserves such treatment. But hey, you made the first step and this is the most important one. Acknowledging there even IS a problem. And you even acted upon it.

And one for the road: Being autistic doesn’t make you weird. It, at best, makes you slightly deviate from the baseline of normality. And that’s what makes people actually interesting, not boring run-of-the-mill-copycats with no own opinions. But this is just my misanthropic point of view :-)

Amen. I do love LEDs since their dawn and have a big-ass collection. But on every single stupid computer thing? I don’t wanna pay extra just because my mouse can have stupid rgb-lights. Or my damn RAM. It adds absolutely nothing, costs more and has another part that will go broke.

OK you probably need it more often than I do. But so far, I always found anything I needed for C#. But I’m surely no measure of course, I’m a casual who only codes stuff i, myself, need. And just me/wifey.

Lol, yes. I can actually get things done in c#. Even fast and also complex.

In java (which I have to use for android) it’s really aweful. Sure I’m no pro, but it also sucks to have to be a pro (and dedicate most of your time to a single thing) to get shit done.

I’m not a big M$-fan but I actually like c# a lot. Java not so much.

Depends on what level of usability of an un-updated android one needs, yes. On a TV I guess it’s of less importance. Except you’re dependand on apps that constantly update and also their required os-level. Yeah,might’ve been too optimistic ;-(

Same. I didn’t even find a 1080p anymore, let alone a dumb one. So fucking sad…but I don’t ever need a TV at all, it’s just for wifey who uses it as background-noise.

And it could be even cheaper without their stupid “smart”-crap. But nooooo. Let’s make a TV they maybe can’t even use 10 years later anymore.
