Many animals manage to do it without training. for example pigs have a pooping, eating and sleeping place. It’s kinda mean and not true saying they are filthy animals
Not just that, he has a song for every activity
He also has a toilet song or ‘where the fuck is my food hurry up peasant, I’m starving’ song
He sure did, even recognized my car and came to me meowing.
If he can’t wake me up on his own with singing in the morning, he now utilizes our dog for help by stealing his sleeping space

He had a phase, when he was younger where he believed he is a dog.
Yea he had absurdly huge paws as a kitten and Zampone means ‘big paw’ in Italian.
We mostly call him Pino, Perle or Popel though
