Man I miss 2012 (or whenever it was) and the “Ron Paul will make anime real” memes.

I find they’re usually just cowards afraid to stand both feet on anything, and/or self-aware of their ignorance so they give the “both-sides” spiel because it sounds pithy and intelligent.

It didn’t matter if a German citizen supported the Third Reich or didn’t care and just wanted to run his bakery. Bombs still fell on his town, foreign troops still fought through his streets. This shit affects you whether or not you have the intelligence to comprehend it or the courage to confront it.

That is a lot of manpower that could be used elsewhere, were they actually a public service.
