Anthropogenic climate change is real, whether you believe in it or not.
You know who believes in climate change? Fossil fuel companies, insurance companies, the military industrial complex, and every single politician talking about buying or taking Greenland by force. All the very same people who have spent the past half century publicly denying the existence of anthropogenic climate change. Not only do they believe in it, but they are designing their profit models around it at our expense.
The 99% Party. It’s a slick way of calling it a worker’s party without sounding like a communist party.
Many years ago I was doing carpentry in a mansion on Kiawah Island, and the owner had brought back these huge clam shells from Greece that he turned into bathroom sinks.

Slightly off topic, but I wish I had the patience to learn how to make these videos. I’ve got some songs I’d love to make videos for, but I get so frustrated with the tedium of using AI tools. Granted, I’ve only ever used SD-Forge, ComfyUI, and the like. I’m not stupid, I just have a hard time staying focused.

I agree with this. That singer is a mega douche anyway. One of the most hilarious things I’ve seen was a few years back when he was trying to beef with Ice-T on Twitter, and Ice just kept calling him “Mr. Trapt” and it sent him off the fucking edge.
Conservatives have never and will never be the punk, because punk is a counterculture movement against cultural conservatism, not who is in office at any given time. Punk has always been about cultural freedom, and conservatism is about cultural restriction.
One of the best examples of conservatives’ superficial understanding of counterculture was during the 2020 elections in Philadelphia, when some Boomers wrapped themselves in flags outside a polling place and danced to RATM “Killing in the Name”. They heard the words “fuck you I won’t do what you tell me”, and decided that it represented THEM, while discarding the rest of the lyrics and the entire meaning of the song.
They do this with all media, from music to books to movies and TV. Their understanding and interpretation of art begins and ends at the surface level.
And the US government banned words related to climate change from any future studies. If your grant proposal includes those keywords, it’ll get denied automatically without a human even looking at it.
