And even moderately wealthy Americans don’t usually travel outside their country. If they do it’s usually from the airport to their hotel.
My parents will always specify if the person they’re referring to or telling a story about is black. So to help them see how pointless it is I will always specify when someone is white.
They never get it and they’ll always pause the conversation “what does him being white have to do with anything? You said he was driving a Benz, that’s normal for white people.”
I find it interesting that the basic premise of his argument is that all current legislature is correct and good. He just wants any future rules about unlegislated concepts to be reactionary.
I had a similar issue where a dead PC was resurrected after swapping the power cable. It’s never been a fix since, but I still try it.
I did it in person when I was in like the third grade. A girl four years older than me in my neighborhood would sneak onto the elementary school playground and just take turns describing what our OCs were doing in the story while we swung on the swing set. I can’t remember any plotlines, only visualizations.
I’m not sure if that was a joke but I laughed.
