That isn’t why antivaxxers exist. Antivaxxers exist because they believe the vaccines themselves are poisonous or harmful as a core belief. Whether they believe the diseases are severe or even exist is moot because that’s not what they have a problem with.

Many antivaxxers’ children do get severe disease and they do not change their stance because they genuinely believe the vaccines themselves are so harmful.

It’s not that life is so good they are afraid, (doesn’t even make sense) but rather life is so bad and such a distrust in our medical system that they feel like they can’t risk what they see as a bad product. To address that, we’d have to increase education and increase medical access at minimum.

Misunderstanding these people may make the problem simpler and may make you feel good about yourself, but it doesn’t do much to address their actual beliefs.

Women not being allowed to vote is gender fascism that has happened historically, along with not having bank accounts, attending law school, or being able to own land.

What’s happening in the US is gender fascism along with other forms of fascism. When you engage in misogyny, you’re engaging in gender fascism. Just like what Trump, a gender fascist and rapist, does.

Well, it won’t be Covid-25, it’ll be H5N1 bird flu, which so far has a mortality rate of 50%-60% in people and damn near 100% in birds and 70% in cats. Covid-19 was around 1% and killed millions.

The bird flu vaccine has mostly been developed and iirc is available in some European countries. We have a vaccine here too but it hasn’t gone to trial.

Then there’s looking plastic itself with other procedures, but most people aren’t clocking these too much. Tom Brady’s recent transformation is a good example, or pretty much any celeb buccal fat surgery is hard for people to clock. Upper blephs are another one that are hard for people to pinpoint, eg Pamela Anderson, Miley Cyrus. And subtle nose jobs are pretty much unclockable for many people too.
