The simple fact that it was the closest thing I could find to the Ableton Live workflow I am used to that also natively supports Linux. I have since tried the FOSS DAW Zrythm, which is also Ableton-like. But I had some minor issues getting something working, so decided to just wait until it matures to put further effort into trying it out.
Bitwig Studio is what finally allowed me to fully switch to Linux instead of keeping a Mac just for using Ableton Live.
I use Fedora, and I have no idea how to interpret my representation here.
Yes, that seems to have fixed it for me. If I remove the keyword from my filter list and visit the community, the post shows up. But once I add that keyword back to the filter and visit the community, the post is gone.
Does this post title contain zero-width characters or something? It slipped past my app’s filters.
Regarding the post title: Lemmy itself allows you to block communities, instances, and users. But it does not support filtering by keyword, e.g. filtering out any post with the word “platypus” in the title regardless of where it was posted or by whom. With help from the comments below, here are some third party Lemmy clients that have their own implementation of keyword filtering:
- Boost
- Connect
- Eternity
- Interstellar
- Raccoon
- Summit
- Sync
- Tesseract
- Thunder
- Voyager
Do NOT support keyword filtering:
- Alexandrite
- Jerboa
- Lemmy UI
- mlmym
- Next
- Photon
- Quiblr
