Ancient Christian Magic is an academic source text, essentially an “encyclopedic” source of academic translations of real ancient sources with additional analysis by the listed scholars. The goal of the text is not for you to perform these spells yourself (good luck finding the required ingredients, like crocodile liver), but rather to use for study reference.

That being said, this book is great and I pull it off my shelf and read it to people more than any other scholarly text I own. Something about Christianity and Magic gets people riled up, especially when they find out it mostly just so people can have better sex!

I assumed you were purely a satire account, that you couldn’t be that daft as to miss the sarcasm dripping from many of the replies, or your complete lack of human decency.
