  • As someone who does vape, I can tell you for a fact it does leave a residue. It takes a LONG time to build up, and even then it’s only really noticeable on transparent things like glass, but it’s a pain to clean off without specific cleaners. Otherwise it looks perpetually smeared. Best to avoid it so the employees don’t have to guess why their windows won’t clean right.



  • Assuming a dub is equally as well acted as a sub, would you still say the sub is better? I would argue no, neither is objectively better, but an English speaker watching a sub will lose a lot of the acting nuance unless they’re on some level familiar with how Japanese speakers emphasize and intone their speech.

    Hearing it in your native tongue will, in general and in my opinion, help viewers connect with the story and characters more easily and potentially much better because you don’t need to study to intuitively understand characters just through tone.




  • Actually this is probably something good to discuss with him directly. Brainstorming ways of grabbing his attention in a way that respects his privacy together goes a long way toward earning good will, even if you make a mistake later on. Sometimes brain just stops working. My mom has always been good about respecting my privacy, but one day she just opened my door, something she never made a habit of doing and started talking… Right in the middle of some self-care.

    As embarrassed as I was, we were laughing about it the day after. She was excited to tell me something nice is all, and I could trust her apology afterward because of our rapport. How could I stay mad?
