But they’re certainly a business with employees they need to pay, and their app has an objectively large feature set that needs to be maintained. Just for what it’s worth, it looks like it was actually an equipment malfunction, not someone fucking up, that caused the accident. The company claimed the person fucked it in an attempt to cover their asses, and they were eventually found to be hiding the truth in a court of law.
