Despite what many people think/have heard, most places do not have a specific law against doing loops in a roundabout. And when they do it is often a local ordinace(mostly small towns trying to prevent a local car community from driving up and down the main street all night). Although other laws or regulations can apply depending on circumstances.

Things like impeding/obstructing traffic, careless/reckless driving, noise ordinance, etc. But if you’re driving around one in an industrial area at night, the worst you’ll get is probably some accusing questions and a “warning”.

    That’s because it’s a programmed response.

There literally is no concept of a joke in their algorithms, it’s an advanced chat bot basically going through a list of responses and comparing them similar questions it as analyzed, and spits out the answer that is likely to match.

Take a giant spreadsheet with two columns. First one is questions, and the second is responses. Compare queries against first column. When a close match is found, prints out what is in the second column. That’s an extreme simplification of what ChatGPT does. It was never programmer to know or understand what is in either column.

  • Not sure vampiric “law” cares about renters rights. And if it does, is it based on current laws in the country they are in, or the country of origin? And is it the origin of vampires themselves or just the vampire turned. And is it based on the time they were turned or modern laws?

Either way, in one instance I they bought it from the bank after missed mortage payments. So they weren’t legally living there anyway but counted as last/current resident for the vampire since the bank isn’t a person.

Yeah, Quake 2 recommended a Pentium 133, and that was released two years earlier(the AMD equivalent was released only a year and a half before the game). It required a Pentium 90 which was three years old, but it didn’t run smooth from what I remember.

That sort of requirement for a major component today would be considered self-sabotage for most non-vr pc games.

  • At the end of the day they’re just selfish.

My favorite example is the “Free Town Project”, where a bunch of libertarians from all over the country tried to take over a town in New Hampshire. After they managed to force through cuts to everything from firefighting to street lights, they had a single police officer left. And he couldn’t respond to any calls, because his cruiser was broken and they refused to pay for repairs so crime rose and sex offenders started moving there.

    Then came the bears.

They didn’t pay for any sort of forest ranger and the cop couldn’t respond. So bears started getting close and some people spent years feeding them, while their neighbors walked around armed at all times and would shoot at bears on-sight. Which led to the first black bear on human attack in the state for over a century, where a woman was attacked inside her own home. And shortly after two other attacks happened in nearby towns. So the people went into the forest one night and allegedly shot and killed a dozen bears, which didn’t help. Some people suggested the city put bear protection on the trash cans, but it was not passed and was called “government overreach” by others.

So the freedom loving libertarians who moved to a town without zoning laws to live in improvised housing and roam free without laws, ended up having to put up big fences and walls around their homes to keep the bears out.
