I think it’s good that they lock it but I also think there shouldn’t be a way to unlock it apart from race track use.

That’s not true. Cars are normally capped at 250 km/h in Germany. But it’s completely legal to pay extra to get it removed.

I can’t back this up but I highly doubt that the media is played through Plex’ server.
