About 25 years ago i dabbled into the pickup community (yeah, weird i know, but i think still better than the incel road). Sometimes my lair went to a town nearby to “work on our onfidence” by doing weird stuff in public (e.g. eating catfood publicaly or asking for directions to a place while standing right before said location… we were just morons).

One of those experiments was to ask exactly THIS question with a complete straight face to many, many women. And guess what… after asking this question perhaps 200 women this day one replied with “Oh yes, i am absolutely in the right mood, my flat is right over there!”

There i stood, being so dumbfounded by this answer that my super confident fassade crumbled away and fell into the gutter in an instant and my only reaction was “WHAT?!? You… you are supposed to say NO!”. Well, she walked sway laughing really hard.

Lets just conclude this story time by saying that i left this phase behind a long time ago and i am now married with kids for over ten years.

I had an account on reddit, about five years old until I finally decided to leave it because i spend an ungodly amount of time there. Knowing myself and my habit to flake on self set goals I thought out the ultimate strategy to keep me from coming back: Over a couple of weeks I intentionally posted atrocious stuff on my main and my two alt-accounts to get me permabanned and burn every single bridge.

For now it has successfully stopped me from wasting time there any longer.

Is this the appropriate point to reference the suckless community? I mean, that’s THE point of the movement…
