Okay but that’s literally not what multitasking means. She would have to be reading one course in a book and an entirely different subject on her phone at the same time, with zero loss of retention or speed. There are ways the military trains people to do actual multitasking specifically, but for the vast majority of us we only have single-threaded thought processes that switch between lanes ALMOST but not quite instantly, so you’re just introducing stops and starts. It’s like how talking to someone while you’re driving WILL distract you, and the line on what kind of distracted driving is banned or not is based more on what kinds of things are enforceable (physical presence of a phone at x minute and location or some such).

Agreed, but seems like then you should do it for yourself (physical and mental health, stimulation from learning skills, broadening horizons) and if you make friends in the process that’s cool.

I’d definitely at least suggest chugging water and getting crunchy water like apples and cucumbers in you. Also if you drink caffeine less than two hours after you wake up, your body hasn’t flushed out the sleep receptors from last night yet and you’ve gotten them shored up to hit you again later in the afternoon. Caffeine literally has zero energy in it. Speaking as someone who still drinks it but is trying to be VERY careful with the timing (never later than 6hrs before bed time, that’s the half life of Caffeine), it doesn’t give you energy. It just shuts off sleepiness temporarily, but if you were already sleepy when you drank it you’re gonna be sleepy again later. Maybe supplement with those Caffeine-free energy drinks like the gamersupps options for the placebo effect?

(As for the beer, is a little weed an option in your area or is that just trading bad for bad? I had a can of thc plus the other thing drink once and holy damn that was the best sleep I EVER had. Finally shut the brain up.)

I meant more that chat implies it could be literally anyone because it’s anonymous. Like when the game’s developer or some guy with 100k followers suddenly drops in to a little guy’s stream. You wouldn’t know unless they announced themselves lol

It’s also the most unbiased word for referring to a group in a gender neutral way I’ve seen lol most others have implications of status (gentlepersons, folks), are still technically gendered (guys, not to mention this implies relatively young people too), or overbroad (everybody is well, everybody. Chat implies you’re addressing your community or a small group since they’re the ones who would be talking to you).

being unsure or uncaring is supposed to be agnosticism, though. atheism is an outright rejection of the possibility. (this is NOT a commentary on if one is more correct than the other.)
